L'invention concerne des matières de charge pour la fabrication de papier, de carton ou de papier-mouchoir, lesdites matières de charge comprenant des particules revêtues d'un revêtement de silicate de calcium hydraté. L'invention concerne aussi l'utilisation desdites matières de charge pour améliorer les propriétés de résistance du papier ou du carton, ainsi que l'utilisation de ces matières de charge dans la fabrication de papier, de carton ou de papier-mouchoir.
