description The present invention provides a video data sending, storing and retrieving method and a video monitoring system. The sending method comprises: correlating, on the basis of time, video data of a monitored preset position with position data of said preset position, and transmitting said correlation; and separately storing the correlation or retrieving, on the basis of any condition in the correlation, video data meeting a condition.
