VIDEO DATA SENDING, STORING AND RETRIEVING METHOD AND VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM

The present invention provides a video data sending, storing and retrieving method and a video monitoring system. The sending method comprises: correlating, on the basis of time, video data of a monitored preset position with position data of said preset position, and transmitting said correlation; and separately storing the correlation or retrieving, on the basis of any condition in the correlation, video data meeting a condition. The present invention fully utilizes pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) functionality and combines PTZ control and video storage. PTZ orientation information and current protocols are used to improve data transmission and video storage methods, thereby allowing for the retrieval and browsing of videos records on the basis of PTZ orientation information. This reduces the amount of time a user spends retrieving video; enables surveillance personnel rapidly to check a monitored area; and further allows for the setting of an automatic cruise path on the basis of PZT orientation so as to lessen the wo
