Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a synthetic peptide having 19 amino acids, called PnTx(19), formed from the sequence of the native PnTx2-6 toxin from the Phoneutria nigriventer spider. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing this peptide and to the use thereof for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and/or for enhancing erectile function. La présente invention concerne un peptide synthétique de 19 acides aminés, appelé PnTx(19), construit à partir de la séquence de la toxine native PnTx2-6, de l'araignée Phoneutria nigriventer. Elle concerne en outre des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ce peptide ainsi que leur utilisation dans le traitement de la dysfonction érectile et/ou dans la potentialisation de la fonction érectile. A presente invenção refere-se a um peptídeo sintético de 19 aminoácidos, denominado PnTx(19), construído a partir da sequência da toxina nativa PnTx2-6, da aranha Phoneutria nigriventer. Refere-se também a composições farmacêuticas contendo tal peptídeo e ao seu uso no tratamento da disfunção erétil e/ou na potencialização da função erétil.
