Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns biodegradable textile materials designed mainly for medical uses. They contain a plurality of fibres prepared from the melt of lactide-glycolide copolymer or from the melt of a homgeneous blend of the lactide-glycolide copolymer with atactic poly(hydroxybutyrate). The textile materials take the form of nonwoven, knitwear or braided band for surgery sutures. The invention encompasses also melt methods of preparing biodegradable textile materials. L'invention porte sur des matières textiles biodégradables conçues principalement pour des utilisations médicales. Elles contiennent une pluralité de fibres préparées à partir de la masse fondue de copolymère de lactide-glycolide ou à partir de la masse fondue d'un mélange homogène du copolymère de lactide-glycolide avec du poly(hydroxybutyrate) atactique. Les matières textiles prennent la forme d'un non tissé, d'un vêtement tricoté ou d'une bande tressée pour des sutures chirurgicales. L'invention porte également sur des procédés de filage à l'état fondu pour la préparation de matières textiles biodégradables.
