Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an electrochemical lead battery including at least one electrochemical cell that includes a positive electrode including lead oxide PbO2 and a negative electrode including metal lead, which are separated by an electrolyte including methanesulfonic acid and at least one lead salt, characterized in that said electrolyte further includes fluoride ions. La présente invention a trait à un accumulateur électrochimique au plomb comprenant au moins une cellule électrochimique comprenant une électrode positive comprenant de l'oxyde de plomb PbO2 et une électrode négative comprenant du plomb métallique séparées par un électrolyte comprenant de l'acide méthanesulfonique et au moins un sel de plomb, caractérisé en ce que ledit l'électrolyte comprend, en outre, des ions fluorures.
