The method for building, storing and synchronizing a main equipment model of a hydroelectric power plant provided in the present invention provides a hydroelectric power plant information system with a comprehensive model code format, a general model building process, a flexible model storage format, and a general data table structure, so as to build and store the information about all main equipment models in the hydroelectric power plant information system, which improves the extendibility and maintainability of the hydroelectric power plant information system, and at the same time provides a distributed hydroelectric power plant information system with an automatic model synchronization solution.
