The system may be used in connection with a locally cooled gas distribution plate, which may control the reaction and increase system efficiency. A thermal bridge breaking system for disrupting heat transfer across the reactor is also disclosed. The thermal bridge breaking system may be provided in connection with, or separate from, the gas distribution plate cooling system. On décrit un système de réacteur à lit fluidisé. Le système peut être utilisé en association avec une plaque de distribution de gaz refroidi localement pouvant contrôler la réaction et augmenter l'efficacité du système. On décrit également un système de rupture de pont thermique destiné à perturber le transfert de chaleur à travers tout le réacteur. Le système de rupture de pont thermique peut être mis en place en association avec, ou séparément du système de refroidissement de la plaque de distribution de gaz.
