The instant invention is also directed to a composition of matter comprising lurasidone hydrochloride of more than 99.95% purity or less than 0.05% impurity. La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour la préparation de chlorhydrate de lurasidone présentant un profil d'impuretés moindre, consistant à isoler de la lurasidone sous forme de base sous forme d'un solide et soumettre la base à un mélange alcool isopropylique-acide chlorhydrique.
