METHOD FOR PREPARING ORGANOPHILIC CLAY FROM CLAY AND MACROALGAE, AND CORRESPONDING FERTILISER PRODUCT, FOOD SUPPLEMENT FOR ANIMALS, FISH FOOD AND CERAMIC FILLER

The invention relates to a method for preparing intercalated and/or exfoliated clay from macroalgae, and to corresponding intercalated and/or exfoliated clay. According to the invention, such a method comprises the following steps: macroalgae comprising between 0.2 and 20%, preferably between 6 and 20%, of dry material, are obtained; said macroalgae are ground (11); said ground macroalgae are mixed (13) under shear strain with a mass of said clay representing between 0.25 and 1.6 times the mass of said macroalgae, proportionately, over a sufficient amount of time to enable a suitable intercalation and/or exfoliation of said clay, and preferably at least equal to one hour. The invention also relates to a fertiliser product, a food supplement for animals, fish food, and a ceramic filler comprising said intercalated and/or exfoliated clay. L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une argile organophile intercalée et/ou exfoliée à partir de macroalgues, et une argile intercalée et/ou exfoliée correspondante. Selon l'invention, un tel procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : - obtention de macroalgues comprenant entre 0,2 et 20% de matière sèche, de préférence entre 6 et 20% de matière sèche; - broyage (11) desdites macroalgues; - mélange sous cisaillement (13) desdites macroalgues broyées avec une masse de ladite argile représentant entre 0,25 et 1,6 fois la masse desdites macroalgues, en proportions, pendant une durée suffisante pour permettre une intercalation et/ou une exfoliation convenable de ladite argile, et de préférence au moins égale à une heure. L'invention concerne également un produit fertilisant, un complément alimentaire pour animaux, un aliment pour poisson et une charge pour céramique comprenant ladite argile intercalée et/ou exfoliée.
