This equipment monitoring device (2) is provided with: a power information collecting unit (21) for collecting power consumption patterns of equipment; a registration operation information holding unit (22) for associating and holding the content of registration operations performed for equipment when registering the equipment, and the power consumption patterns of the equipment produced by the registration operations; a registration operation guidance generation unit (23) for generating and notifying registration operation guidance which, out of the content of the registration operations held by the registration operation information holding unit, indicates the content of registration operations of the target equipment and execution time of said registration operations; a power consumption pattern matching unit (24) for specifying the power wiring to which the target equipment is connected by matching power consumption patterns of the equipment, which were collected by the power information collecting unit in a prescribed period determined on the basis of the execution time indicated by the registration operation guidance, and the power consumption patterns, which were associated with the content of the registration operations indicated by the registration operation guidance; and an equipment information registration unit (25) for associating and registering the target equipment and the power wiring specified by the power consumption pattern matching unit.
