Provided are: a water-stopping structure for obtaining a prescribed water-stopping performance without requiring management of a complicated assembly step; and a mobile terminal device capable of achieving a slim border for a display panel by using this water-stopping structure. This mobile terminal device is equipped with: a display panel (10) having a sound hole (10h); a sound output component (70) for outputting sound; immobilizing members (20, 61) having sound holes and having the sound output component immobilized on one side thereof, and the display panel positioned on the other side thereof; and a water-stopping member (62) comprising a circular adhesive member and being interposed between the display panel and the immobilizing members in a squashed state. Therein, the display panel (10), the water-stopping member (62), and the immobilizing members (20, 61) are configured in a manner such that the sound holes of the display panel (10) and of the immobilizing members (20, 61) are immobilized in positions connecting on the inside of the circular water-stopping member (62). Ce dispositif de terminal portable est muni : d'un panneau d'affichage (10) possédant un trou acoustique (10h); d'un composant de sortie acoustique (70) destiné à la sortie de sons; d'éléments fixation (20, 61) qui possèdent des trous acoustiques, qui fixent le composant de sortie acoustique d'un côté, et dans lesquels le panneau d'affichage est disposé sur l'autre côté; et d'un élément d'étanchéité (62) qui prend une forme circulaire dotée de propriétés d'adhérence, et qui s'intercale entre le panneau d'affichage et les éléments fixation dans un état de compression. Le panneau d'affichage (10), l'élément d'étanchéité (62) et les éléments fixation (20, 61) adoptent une configuration de fixation par disposition du trou acoustique du panneau d'affichage (10) et de ceux des éléments fixation (20, 61) à travers le côté interne de la boucle formée par l'élément d'étanchéité (62).
