La présente invention concerne la préparation d'antibiotiques beta-lactamines, cette préparation consistant à mettre en contact 4-hydroxyphénylglycine ou phénylglycine, cystéine et valine avec une synthétase de peptide non ribosomique, puis à effectuer la cyclisation à l'aide d'une isopénicilline-N-synthétase en présence d'une protéine de type MbtH, l'invention concernant également une cellule hôte permettant d'effectuer cette préparation.
