Said formulation may further comprise water, a solvent such as a dipolar aprotic solvent, a water miscible organic solvent, and an organic base. La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un composé de formule (I) comme activateur pour les surfaces métalliques corrodées, une formulation contenant ce même composé et un procédé d'utilisation de ce même composé pour procurer une surface métallique propre. Ladite formulation peut également contenir de l'eau, un solvant tel qu'un solvant aprotique dipolaire, un solvant organique miscible avec l'eau, et une base organique.
