PORTABLE ELECTRIC CANDLE HAVING A LAMP PENDULATING AND ROTATING SIMULATANEOUSLY

The present invention relates to a portable electric candle which is capable of inducing a lamp to pendulate and of simultaneously controlling the rotation of the lamp separately or in concert with the pendulation, and which is capable of controlling changes in the brightness and color along with the setting time thereof. The candle comprises: a lamp unit (10) in which a lamp (12) is supported on a conductive wire (16) on the side of a wing (14) in order to receive electricity and emit light, a weight (18) is installed at the bottom of the wing (14), and the electromagnet (27) of a rotator (20) and a corresponding permanent magnet (19) are installed on the bottom of the weight (18) to thereby enable the lamp unit to pendulate via the repulsive force between the electromagnet (27), in which a magnetic force is generated by applying a current to same, and the permanent magnet (19), and through the restoring force of the weight (18); a rotator (20), which includes a round base (22), an inner container body (24) installed at the round base (22) so as to be opened upward and have an opening (23), a contact terminal (26) disposed at the top of the inner container body (24) and electrically connected to the conductive wire (16), an electromagnet (27) installed at the center of the top surface of the round base (22), a magnetized body (28) installed on the outer perimeter surface of the inner container body (24) and generating a magnetic flux, and a power supply terminal (29) provided at the bottom of the inner container body (24), wherein the rotator is rotated by the force generated between the magnetic force generated at the field coil (36) of the rotator housing (30) and the magnetic flux generated at the magnetized body (28); the rotator housing (30), which includes a bearing receiving portion (32), an outer container body (34) installed at the bearing receiving portion (32) and having a round opening (33) opened upward to receive the rotator (20), and a field coil (36) installed at the inner perimeter surface of the outer container body (34), wherein the rotator housing (30) receives the rotator (20) and supports and induces the rotation of the rotator (20); and a movement selecting switch (102) which is capable of selectively alternating between rotation and pendulation of the lamp (12) whereby both or one of the movements can be selected.
