Zusammenfassung:	An electrochemical gas sensor, particularly for the detection of ammonia and/or amines, with an ionic fluid as an electrolyte, wherein the ionic fluid contains at least one protic ammonium cation with at least one dissociable hydrogen atom, whereby the at least one protic ammonium cation reacts with the ammonia and/or amines to be measured via deprotonation. The present invention also relates to the use of such a gas sensor. L'invention concerne un capteur de gaz électrochimique, en particulier pour la détection de l'ammoniac et/ou d'amines, utilisant un fluide ionique comme électrolyte, le fluide ionique contenant au moins un cation ammonium protique avec au moins un atome hydrogène dissociable, ledit cation ammonium protique réagissant par déprotonation avec l'ammoniac et/ou les amines à mesurer. La présente invention concerne aussi l'utilisation d'un tel capteur de gaz.
