CRUCIBLE FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOUND CRYSTAL, APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOUND CRYSTAL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOUND CRYSTAL USING CRUCIBLE

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a crucible for manufacturing a fluoride crystal is to be used in fluoride crystal manufacture, wherein a pretreated product is manufactured by melting, cooling and solidifying a powdery or granular fluoride raw material in a pretreatment furnace, and the pretreated product thus manufactured is melted and grown into a crystal in a crystal growing furnace. The crucible is configured of a bottomed cylindrical first member composed of a bottom portion and a cylindrical portion connected to the bottom portion, and a hollow cylindrical second member removably configured from the cylindrical portion. The crucible is configured such that a large capacity crucible for manufacturing the pretreated product is formed by having the first member and the second member integrated with each other when both the members are connected to each other, and that a small capacity crucible for growing a crystal is formed of the first member when the first member and the second member are separated from each other.
