La présente invention concerne des poches de culture comprenant un matériau biocompatible qui est adapté pour contenir et soutenir la culture à long terme de cellules, tissus, ou organes ; tolère la stérilisation par des moyens standard, et permet l'approvisionnement en oxygène depuis l'extérieur de ladite poche de culture vers les cellules, tissus ou organes dans ladite poche de culture et l'élimination du dioxyde de carbone depuis l'intérieur de la poche de culture.
