ANGULAR VELOCITY SENSOR

This angular velocity sensor is provided with: an oscillator having a first drive arm and a second drive arm; a first drive element that oscillates the first drive arm; a second drive element that oscillates the second drive arm; a control unit, which makes the first drive arm and the second drive arm oscillate by outputting signals to the first drive element and the second drive element; and a detection unit, which detects oscillation from the first drive arm and the second drive arm. The control unit executes control in normal mode and self-diagnosis mode with respect to the first drive element and the second drive element. L'invention porte sur un capteur de vitesse angulaire qui comporte : un oscillateur ayant un premier bras d'actionnement et un second bras d'actionnement ; un premier élément d'actionnement qui fait osciller le premier bras d'actionnement ; un second élément d'actionnement qui fait osciller le second bras d'actionnement ; une unité de commande, qui fait osciller le premier bras d'actionnement et le second bras d'actionnement en émettant des signaux au premier élément d'actionnement et au second élément d'actionnement ; une unité de détection, qui détecte une oscillation à partir du premier bras d'actionnement et du second bras d'actionnement. L'unité de commande exécute une commande en mode normal et en mode de diagnostic automatique en ce qui concerne le premier élément d'actionnement et le second élément d'actionnement.
