Zusammenfassung:	A sheet wafer growth system includes a crucible for containing molten material and an afterheater positioned above the crucible. The afterheater has an inner surface disposed toward the crucible. The system further includes one or more shields adjacent to the inner surface of the afterheater. The afterheater and the shield(s) are configured to allow a sheet wafer to pass adjacent to the shield(s). Each shield has two or more substantially different thermally conductive regions such that the two or more regions are configured to control the temperature profile of the growing sheet wafer. L'invention concerne un système de croissance de tranche de feuille qui comporte un creuset pour contenir une matière fondue et un dispositif de chauffage secondaire placé au-dessus du creuset. Ledit dispositif de chauffage secondaire possède une surface intérieure disposée en direction du creuset. Le système comporte en outre un ou plusieurs écrans jouxtant la surface intérieure du dispositif de chauffage secondaire. Ledit dispositif de chauffage secondaire et lesdits écrans sont configurés pour permettre à une tranche de feuille de circuler jouxtant lesdits écrans. Chaque écran est doté de deux ou de plusieurs régions thermoconductrices sensiblement différentes de façon que lesdites régions soient configurées pour réguler le profil de température de la tranche de feuille croissante.
