COMPRESSION STOCKINGS AND TUBES WITH BIOACTIVE AGENTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY AND VARICOSE VEINS

This invention describes compression stockings and tubes containing bioactive agents of natural, semi-synthetic or synthetic basis, for the treatment of venous insufficiency and other peripheral vascular diseases the preparation method. The compression stockings and tubes described in this invention have the ability to release gradually the bioactive agent to the patient's skin, through the phenomenon of compression and/or through the effect of interaction with the skin. In addition to the gradual release of the bioactive agents to the patient's skin having effect on vascular diseases, the textile material has additionally compression effects, conferred by the use of fibers with elastomeric properties, enabling the treatment of varicose veins and other manifestations of venous insufficiency in a simple and expeditious mode. In one embodiment of the present invention, the development of knee high or thigh high compression stockings/socks incorporating and releasing active principles, with a graduated compression that starts in the toes, is reported. La présente invention concerne des tuyaux et bas de contention contenant des agents bioactifs d'origine naturelle, semi-synthétique ou synthétique, pour le traitement de l'insuffisance veineuse et d'autres affections vasculaires périphériques et leur procédé de préparation. Les tuyaux et bas de contention de l'invention ont la capacité de libérer progressivement l'agent bioactif sur la peau du patient, par le phénomène de compression et/ou sous l'effet d'une interaction avec la peau. Outre la libération progressive des agents bioactifs sur la peau du patient ayant un effet sur des affections vasculaires, le matériau textile a en plus des effets de compression, conférés par l'utilisation de fibres dotées de propriétés élastomériques, permettant le traitement des varices et d'autres manifestations d'insuffisance veineuse d'une manière simple et rapide. Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne le développement de chaussettes/bas de contention à hauteur de genou (mi-bas) ou mi-cuisse, renfermant et libérant des principes actifs, avec une compression progressive qui débute dans les pieds.
