METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AN INDUSTRIAL SYSTEM INVOLVING AN EYE TRACKING SYSTEM

It is presented a method for notifying at least a first condition in an industrial system by means of a monitoring system in order to draw the attention of an operator monitoring the industrial system to the at least one condition. The method comprises displaying (Sl) the first condition in a first portion of a display screen of the monitoring system, determining (S2) by means of eye tracking an area where a user focuses on the display screen, the area where the user focuses differing from the first portion, and alerting (S3) the user of the first condition in order to allow the user to be notified of the first condition in the industrial system. A monitoring system is also presented herein. L'invention porte sur un procédé de notification d'au moins une première condition dans un système industriel au moyen d'un système de surveillance de façon à attirer l'attention d'un opérateur surveillant le système industriel sur la ou les conditions. Le procédé consiste à afficher (S1) la première condition dans une première partie d'un écran d'affichage du système de surveillance, à déterminer (S2), au moyen d'un suivi oculaire, une zone sur laquelle un utilisateur se focalise sur l'écran d'affichage, la zone sur laquelle un utilisateur se focalise étant différente de la première partie, et à alerter (S3) l'utilisateur de la première condition de façon à permettre à l'utilisateur d'être notifié quant à la première condition dans le système industriel.
