La invención se relaciona con el cultivo bacterias marinas en suero lácteo, subproducto de la industria quesera y altamente contaminante y su posterior aprovechamiento como fuente de ácidos grasos poli-insaturados, tal como el ácido docosahexaenoico omega-3 (DHA) producido por dichas bacterias. L'invention concerne la culture de bactéries marines dans du sérum lacté, un sous-produit de l'industrie fromagère et hautement contaminant et son exploitation ultérieure comme source d'acides gras polyinsaturés, tel que l'acide docosahexaénoïque (DHA) oméga-3 produit par ces bactéries.
