AN INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS DEVICE

An Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) device is described. The ITS device (400) includes: radio resources including a receiver (402) adapted to receive a radio signal in at least two frequency bands; a channel detector (410) arranged to analyse a signal received in a first frequency band to determine the presence of a transmission in that frequency band; a controller (402) configured to control assignment of radio resources, and in the event that the channel detector detects a signal in the first frequency band, to prevent transmission of a potentially interfering radio signal. The first frequency channel can be part of another radio communications system, such as a RTTTl SSRC radio system. L'invention porte sur un dispositif de systèmes de transport intelligents (ITS). Le dispositif d'ITS (400) comprend : des ressources radio comprenant un récepteur (402) conçu pour recevoir un signal radio dans au moins deux bandes de fréquence ; un détecteur de canal (410) conçu pour analyser un signal reçu dans une première bande de fréquence afin de déterminer la présence d'une transmission dans cette bande de fréquence ; un système de commande (402) configuré pour commander l'attribution de ressources radio, et dans le cas où le détecteur de canal détecte un signal dans la première bande de fréquence, pour empêcher l'émission d'un signal radio potentiellement brouilleur. Le premier canal de fréquence peut faire partie d'un autre système de radiocommunication, tel qu'un système radio SSRC RTTT1.
