Zusammenfassung:The present invention describes the method for preparing, using and recovering an absorbent material for apolar compounds or mixtures of apolar compounds, such as organic solvents, mineral oil and derivatives thereof, lubricant oils, edible oils, inter alia. The absorbent material is composed of an inorganic matrix of high porosity, low density and high mechanical resistance. This matrix is rendered water-proof, thus acquiring the property of absorbing apolar compounds or mixtures of apolar compounds. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation, d'application et de récupération d'une matière absorbante pour composés ou mélanges de composés non polaires, tels que les solvants organiques, le pétrole et ses dérivés, les huiles lubrifiantes et les huiles comestibles, entre autres. La matière absorbante comprend une matrice inorganique à porosité élevée, à faible densité et à haute résistance mécanique. Cette matrice est hydrophobisée, acquérant ainsi une capacité d'absorption de composés ou de mélanges de composés non polaires. A presente invenção descreve o processo de preparação, aplicação e recuperação de um material absorvente para compostos ou misturas de compostos apolares, tais como solventes orgânicos, petróleo e derivados, óleos lubrificantes, óleos comestíveis, mas não limitantes. O material absorvente é composto por uma matriz inorgânica de elevada porosidade, baixa densidade e elevada resistência mecânica. Esta matriz é hidrofobizada adquirindo a capacidade de absorção de compostos ou misturas de compostos apolares.
