| Zusammenfassung: | A multi-core online patching method and system for mapping all patch data to a shared memories patch area are disclosed. The method includes: separating shared global variables from private global variables in the patches; and mapping the shared global variables to shared data segments in the patch area by way of direct memory address mapping, and mapping the private global variables to private data segments in the patch area by way of variable address mapping specified by users. The solution can be used in multi-core Digital Signal Processing (DSP) systems of carrier-grade software.
