La présente invention concerne un procédé continu pour la production de disilane, ledit procédé comprenant la transformation de monosilane catalysée par un métal de transition. L'hydrogène produit lors de ladite transformation est évacué du procédé au moyen d'une membrane semi-perméable ou d'un absorbant.
