La présente invention a trait à une turbine basse pression et à une centrale thermique à vapeur dotée d'une turbine basse pression (1) qui est connectée à un système de condensation supplémentaire (25), ce qui permet de la sorte de maintenir la puissance électrique à un niveau élevé, même si le système de condensation principal (17) a une capacité réduite en raison de restrictions en eau de refroidissement.
