A detection device, communication system and detection method are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The detection device is connected between an antenna port and a feeder, which includes: a detection module, coupled to the antenna port, for detecting the power of the antenna port, and generating detection information according to the detected power of the antenna port; a control module, for converting the detection information into a transmission signal; a transmission module, for transmitting the transmission signal. With the embodiments of the present invention, the power of the antenna port can be detected by the detection device connected to the antenna side of the feeder, and the detected information can be transmitted, thus the power of the antenna port can be detected remotely, and the transmission state of the antenna and the corresponding feeder can be monitored more conveniently and precisely.
