TEST BENCH FOR A REACTION ENGINE

The invention relates to a test bench for a reaction engine (16) comprising a fuel line (24) having a divergent (26). The bench comprises means for holding the divergent in position, wherein said means are capable of holding the divergent in such manner that the axis thereof is vertical, and are capable of interacting with a downstream portion of the divergent, which is located in the downstream half thereof, to limit the deformation and/or movement of said downstream portion. Thus, the test bench prevents damage to the divergent, even if side forces are applied thereto during the tests. Le banc comporte des moyens de maintien en position du divergent, aptes à maintenir le divergent de telle sorte que son axe soit vertical, et aptes à interagir avec une partie aval du divergent située dans la moitié aval de celui-ci, afin de limiter une déformation et/ou un déplacement de cette partie aval. Ainsi, le banc d'essais permet que le divergent ne soit pas endommagé même si des efforts latéraux lui sont appliqués au cours des essais.
