HIGH TORQUE DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM

A dental implant system for securing a dental prosthesis within a prepared site of a jawbone in a subject having an implant configured for insertion within the prepared site of the jawbone and an abutment configured for secure attachment to the implant. The implant can have a shoulder portion having a plurality of circumferential rings and a body portion that can be threaded. The implant can have an internal cavity that is configured or otherwise adapted to receive at least a portion of the abutment. L'invention porte sur un système d'implant dentaire qui permet de fixer une prothèse dentaire, dans un site préparé d'une mâchoire, chez un sujet ayant un implant configuré pour être inséré dans le site préparé de la mâchoire, et sur un point d'appui d'entretoisement configuré pour une fixation solide sur l'implant. L'implant peut présenter une partie d'épaulement possédant une pluralité d'anneaux périphériques et une partie de corps pouvant être filetée. L'implant peut posséder une cavité intérieure configurée ou autrement conçue pour recevoir au moins une partie du point d'appui d'entretoisement.
