METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MONITORING AN OPTICAL FIBER AMPLIFIER

An equipment and method for monitoring an optical fiber amplifier are provided by the present invention, which is applied in communication equipment domain. Said equipment includes a processor and an interface selector; said processor is connected to the second side of the interface and the position number input interface of the interface selector, said processor is set to transport the position number of the optical fiber amplifier to be monitored to said interface selector; the first side of the interface of said interface selector is connected to the monitoring interface of said optical fiber amplifier, said interface selector is set to connect the optical fiber amplifier corresponding to the position number to said processor to exchange data; so monitoring a plurality of optical fiber amplifiers is realized.
