Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to thermoplastic film, methods for making thermoplastic film, and the use of thermoplastic film as battery separator film. More particularly, the invention relates to a thermoplastic film comprising a microporous polymeric membrane and a non-woven polymeric web. The non-woven polymeric web can be a meltblown polymeric layer on the microporous polymeric membrane. Les modes de réalisation de la présente invention concernent d'une façon générale un film thermoplastique, des procédés de fabrication de ce film thermoplastique, et l'utilisation du film thermoplastique comme film séparateur pour batterie. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement un film thermoplastique comprenant une membrane polymère microporeuse et un voile polymère non-tissé. Ce voile polymère non-tissé peut être une couche polymère réalisée par fusion-soufflage sur la membrane polymère microporeuse.
