ELECTRIC APPARATUS WITH AN AUTOMATIC CONNECTION TERMINAL

The invention relates to an electric apparatus such as a power socket, a switch, or a terminal board, comprising a housing (11, 12) in which at least one automatic connection terminal for a conductor (90) is provided to be axially inserted into said terminal in a predetermined direction. According to the invention, the housing comprises a body (11) having, along said terminal, an opening (34) which is elongate in said predetermined direction. Said terminal is adapted so that said conductor inserted in said terminal can, by tilting in a direction parallel thereto, slide outside said terminal and pass through said elongate opening (34) so as to be extracted from the apparatus (10). The housing further includes a cover (12) that can assume a closed position in which it blocks said elongate opening (34) and a spaced apart position in which it frees up said elongate opening (34).
