Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates in general to compositions, processes and apparatus for imaging, and in particular for improved preparation, collection and processing of images of specimens that include cartilage, particularly specimens of intact or disarticulated joints. Images of specimens according to the present invention include images obtained from X-ray microscopic computed tomography. La présente invention concerne en général des compositions, des procédés et un appareil qui permettent l'imagerie et, en particulier, qui permettent de mieux préparer, prélever et traiter des images d'échantillons qui comprennent du cartilage, en particulier d'échantillons d'articulations intactes ou désarticulées. Les images d'échantillons selon la présente invention comprennent des images obtenues par tomodensitométrie microscopique aux rayons X.
