TEL URI HANDLING METHOD AND APPARATUS

A method of installing a default dialling or numbering plan identity into a user terminal comprising an IMS client. The method comprises, at or following registration of a user of the user terminal to an IMS network, receiving at the terminal from the network a dialling or numbering plan identity and saving the identity as a default identity at the terminal, wherein the default dialling or numbering plan identity is subsequently used by the IMS client as a phone context. L'invention porte sur un procédé d'installation d'une identité de plan de composition ou numérotage par défaut dans un terminal utilisateur comprenant un client IMS. Le procédé comprend, au cours ou après un enregistrement d'un utilisateur du terminal utilisateur auprès d'un réseau IMS, la réception au niveau du terminal, en provenance du réseau, d'une identité de plan de composition ou numérotage et la sauvegarde de l'identité en tant qu'identité par défaut au niveau du terminal, l'identité de plan de composition ou numérotage par défaut étant ensuite utilisée par le client IMS en tant que contexte de téléphone.
