Zusammenfassung:	A target stilbenoid having the general formula (1) wherein each R group is -H or -OH provided that at least one -OH R group is produced by supplying to or producing in a micro-organism a substrate stilbenoid in which at least one of R group is -H and producing in said micro-organism an enzyme capable of hydroxylating said substrate stilbenoid to produce therefrom a said target stilbenoid having one or more -OH R groups more that the substrate stilbenoid. Un stilbénoïde cible répondant à la formule générale (1) dans laquelle chaque groupe R est -H ou -OH à condition qu'au moins un groupe R soit -OH est obtenu par introduction dans un microorganisme ou production dans celui-ci d'un stilbénoïde substrat dans lequel au moins un des groupes R est -H et production dans ledit microorganisme d'une enzyme capable d'hydroxyler ledit stilbénoïde substrat pour produire à partir de celui-ci un stilbénoïde cible ayant un ou plusieurs groupes R -OH de plus que le stilbénoïde substrat.
