Zusammenfassung:	The present invention discloses stable, solid oral pharmaceutical composition comprising Lanthanum carbonate having more than 6 molecules of water per molecule of lanthanum carbonate and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or diluents, wherein said carrier or diluent excludes monosaccharide/s or disaccharide/s, such that the composition has comparable in-vitro dissolution profile similar to that of FOSRENOL ®. Also disclosed is a wet granulation process for making the same. L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique orale solide stable qui renferme du carbonate de lanthane comportant plus de 6 molécules d'eau par molécule de carbonate de lanthane et des excipients ou des diluants pharmaceutiquement acceptables à l'exclusion de(s) monosaccharide(s) ou disaccharide(s), ladite composition présentant un profil de dissolution in vitro comparée similaire à celui du FOSRENOL ®. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication de cette composition par granulation par voie humide.
