In the most particular aspect of the invention it relates to the strengthening of the structure of such a medical device, especially of a balloon on a balloon catheter device and its use in a variety of medical procedures to treat medical conditions in animal and human patients. La présente invention concerne des dispositifs médicaux. Elle concerne, en particulier, des dispositifs d'endoprothèse et des dispositifs de cathéter à ballonnet. Sous son aspect le plus particulier, l'invention concerne le renforcement de la structure d'un dispositif médical de ce type, notamment d'un ballonnet sur un dispositif de cathéter à ballonnet, et son utilisation dans toute une variété d'actes médicaux pour traiter des pathologies chez des patients animaux et humains.
