La présente invention concerne un procédé d'inhibition de la métastase qui comprend l'administration d'un inhibiteur de protéase nexine-1 (PN-1), tel que la PN-1 ciblant l'ARNsh, caractérisé en ce que ledit inhibiteur est administré à une dose thérapeutique qui n'inhibe pas complètement l'expression et/ou l'activité de PN-1.
