Zusammenfassung:	A "dam and fill" method for bonding a transparent substrate to a liquid crystal display is disclosed which method provides means for effectively containing uncured/partially cured adhesive prior to bonding using the method. Also described is an associated device, made using the "dam and fill" method, which has precise targeted spacing between the transparent substrate and the liquid crystal display. Cette invention concerne un procédé "dam and fill" permettant de fixer un substrat transparent sur un écran à cristaux liquides. Ce procédé consiste à utiliser un moyen permettant de contenir efficacement un adhésif non durci/partiellement durci avant la fixation. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif associé réalisé à l'aide du procédé "dam and fill", lequel dispositif présente un écartement ciblé précis entre le substrat transparent et l'écran à cristaux liquides.
