The at least one second element has a higher illuminance than that of the at least one inactivating element or component. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage qui présente au moins un premier élément qui émet de la lumière visible à une longueur d'onde et une intensité d'irradiation qui suffisent pour inactiver une ou plusieurs espèces bactériennes pathogènes, et au moins un deuxième élément qui émet de la lumière à une ou plusieurs longueurs d'onde plus longues que celle du premier élément. Le ou les deuxièmes éléments ont une intensité d'éclairage plus élevée que celle du ou des éléments ou composants d'inactivation.
