L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de compenser les erreurs de mesure d'une machine de mesure (1) qui proviennent des déformations du banc de machine (2) provoquées par le poids exercé par la pièce usinée à mesurer sur le banc de machine, qui comprend une première étape d'acquisition dans laquelle les données concernant le poids de la pièce usinée et les modes de repos de la pièce usinée sur le banc de machine (2) sont acquises, et une seconde étape de calcul dans laquelle des valeurs correctives sont calculées selon lesdites données.
