STONE PRODUCT PROCESSED FROM A STONE BLOCK WITH MANY HOLES AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD

The present invention pertains to a stone product made of stone formed with many holes, and in particular to a stone product obtained by supplementing fragility due to the holes as well as of good appearance by filling the holes with precious metallic powder or decorative powder, and to a method of processing the stone. The stone product according to the invention to achieve the aforementioned object of the invention, the stone being formed with a plurality of holes exposed on its outer surface, is characterized in that some of the holes are filled with a first filling material prepared by mixing adhesive with powder of different color from that of the stone, in that the other holes than the holes filled with the first filling material exposed on the surface are filled with a second filling material prepared by mixing adhesive with stone powder and small stones obtained by crushing the stone into chips, and in that the outer surface of the stone is coated. The method of processing the stone product made of the stone formed with a plurality of holes according to the invention to achieve the aforementioned object is characterized by comprising the steps of: taping some of holes selected from among the holes exposed on the outer surface of the stone; filling the other holes exposed on the outer surface with a second filling material than the taped holes; removing the tape from the taped holes; filling the selected holes with a first filling material; drying the stone of which the holes are filled with the first and second filling material; and post-processing the dried stone.
