DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INSECT PESTS

A method and a device for utilizing insects feeding at an insect elimination dispenser as a carrier of a pathogen or like material to eliminate additional insects of the same or different species by providing a contamination band affixed to the dispenser in the path of insects feeding at the dispenser and including a material to contaminate insects contacting the contamination band and the insects, after leaving, contaminate other insects of the same or of a different species. L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour utiliser les insectes se nourrissant au niveau d'un distributeur à élimination d'insectes comme véhicule d'un pathogène ou un matériau similaire pour éliminer les insectes supplémentaires de la même espèce ou d'une espèce différente en présentant une bande de contamination fixée au distributeur dans le chemin des insectes se nourrissant au niveau d'un distributeur et comprenant un matériau pour contaminer des insectes venant en contact avec la bande de contamination. Après leur départ, les insectes contaminent d'autres insectes de la même espèce ou d'une espèce différente.
