The hydrocarbon recovery composition includes a branched internal olefin sulfonate having an average carbon number of at least 15 and an average number of branches per molecule of at least 0.8. La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une formation contenant des hydrocarbures. Le procédé comprend le fait de fournir une composition de récupération d'hydrocarbure à la formation contenant des hydrocarbures.
