Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a prokaryotic cell which does not naturally produce butanol, but which has been made capable of producing butanol by genetic modification of said microorganism and to a process for the production of butanol by fermenting the prokaryotic cell in a suitable fermentation medium according to the present invention. La présente invention concerne une cellule procaryote qui ne produit pas naturellement du butanol, mais qui a génétiquement modifiée de façon qu'elle puisse produire du butanol, et concerne également un procédé de production de butanol par fermentation de la cellule procaryote dans un milieu de fermentation approprié selon la présente invention.
