Methods for treating or inhibiting post-stent implantation restenosis as well as improving vascular endothelial function in patients are also provided. L'invention concerne des dispositifs médicaux avec des revêtements polymères conçus pour contrôler la délivrance d'agents bioactifs combinés à des agonistes des récepteurs de l'angiotensine-(1-7) à partir des dispositifs médicaux. L'invention concerne également des procédés permettant de traiter ou d'inhiber la resténose consécutive à l'implantation d'un stent, mais aussi d'améliorer la fonction endothéliale vasculaire chez des patients.
