Zusammenfassung:	A process for reducing the VOC content of a coating composition or a refinish composition is provided. The process comprises contacting at least one hydroxyl-containing acrylic polymer, at least one low molecular weight hydroxyl-containing acrylic polymer, at least one cellulose mixed ester, at least one crosslinking agent, and at least one curing catalyst to produce the coating composition; applying the coating composition to a substrate; and drying the coating composition. La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduite la teneur en composés organiques volatils d'une composition de revêtement ou d'une composition de rénovateur. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact au moins un polymère acrylique hydroxylé, au moins un polymère acrylique hydroxylé de faible poids moléculaire, au moins un ester mélangé de cellulose, au moins un réticulant, et au moins un catalyseur de durcissage pour produire la composition de revêtement, puis à appliquer la composition de revêtement, et enfin à sécher la composition de revêtement.
