Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to the use of 1-azaxanthone-3-carboxylic acid derivatives of formula (T) and pharmaceutical compositions thereof optionally in combination with meglumine or the meglumine salt of the compound of formula (I) for treating diseases associated with tumour cells which express one or more protein of S100 family, and in treating patients that have malignancies consisting of tumours of an epithelial or mesenchymel nature such as tumours of the breast, skin, colon, lung, bladder, pancreas, esophagus, stomach or oral cavity. The invention also relates to novel meglumine salts of compounds of formula (I). La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'azaxanthones pour le traitement de maladies associées aux cellules tumorales qui expriment une ou plusieurs protéines de la famille S100, et pour le traitement de patients qui souffrent de malignités constituées par les tumeurs de nature épithéliale ou mésenchymateuse, ces composés étant efficaces pour retarder la progression et/ou la métastase de ces tumeurs.
